If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
The most dangerous things you will ever hear in the Army (by rank):

Private - "This is something I learned in Basic..."

Sergeant - "Trust me, Sir."

Lieutenant - "Based on my experience..."

Captain - "I've been thinking..."

First Sergeant - "Watch this shit..."

General - "I don't care how much testing was done, we need it deployed now!"

That's a good one. Very scary and just as likely to be said.

Lt. Colonel: This is sure to make me a full bird.

Oh, it's been said. Maybe not word-for-word, but that opinion has been expressed.

That's what I meant. I've heard all five from the original post. Some multiple times. I'm sure the general line has been said many times.

You have to post a drink warning on these! My monitor can only handle so much Jack that has been filtered through my nose hair at 300 miles an hour!

I'm 5/5 on having heard these as well. The LT one can be made worse by adding "in ROTC..."
1SG Gregarious had said that last one a couple of times to me when I was his O-Room clerk. Then he'd call someone in and make them cry. There was one time he made up whatever it was he was going to yell at them about, got them to the verge of tears, and then told them he was just fucking with them (in those exact words, actually).
I miss him.
(He also had said that when chasing the cow in the Humvee, I think.)

My 1SG did the same thing in Hawaii. I was the headquarters PSG and I'd hear it regularly. Usually when we was about to call someone on doing something stupid.
