If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Loooooooong day

Well, I'm on Staff Duty again. It's been a long day. We had a Joint Language Training Exercise today. I ushered six squads through my hostage operations lane. Then I headed back over to the school house to check on the test results for the most recent unit test. They did fairly well. I get to give them another unit test on Friday. More on that a bit later.

Normally, duty ends at 0800. I originally had duty scheduled for Monday and would have been off Tuesday when the students had the test. That worked out fairly well since I had no classes scheduled for Tuesday. But because of the JLTX, I switched duty days with another MLI and it was too late to cancel the classes I had for Wednesday. So, at 0800 I get to head back to school and teach two classes before I go home to bed. I hate the idea of asking people to cover for me at the last momentj and with the test on Friday, I don't want to cancel the classes outright.

I will get to recover the rest of Wednesday and I sign out on leave on Thursday. After I sign out, I get to come in to work and teach two hours again. And on Friday, while I'm on leave, I get to proctor the unit test and grade it. And once again on Monday, while I'm still on leave, I'll come in for an hour and go over the test results with my students. I need to burn some use or lose leave, so I'm using all of my extra days while my mom comes to visit next week. The schedule at work makes this a bad week to take time off, though, so I'm going to end up working a little. It's all good, though. I like the idea of helping the students and I managed to take off early a few days last week as kind of an advance payment on the leave time I knew I'd spend at work. HAHA!

Well, I'm really tired right now and end this. Seven more hours of duty and two hours of class. Then I can go home and get some sleep.
