If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Cut and paste makes things easy...

On another thread today, I got a little silly in an attempt to lighten the mood and maybe help in some small way to keep the flames from erupting. Some commented that it was funny and suggested reposting under humor so that more people might see... so, here it is -

The setup - Someone asked -

"Where did America go? I look out my window and uhmm, its still there. "

And I answered with -

Actually, that is just an illusion. I have taken America for "safekeeping". It is in a coffee can in my office and I will not release America until my demands have been met...

My demands are threefold in nature...

1. A bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label

2. Enough push pins to cover my entire bulletin board

4. More people to join my JU Fantasy Basketball League (had to work a plug in)

3. Nothing really, it just seems better to have 'three' demands

There are my three demands! Meet them or America stays in my coffee can!

(Sorry, I'm just bored as all get out and it sprang to mind... gotta follow the muse, even if she's obviously drunk...)

Later, when my demands were 'met', I was asked about releasing America. I said -

I plan to release America back into the wild... on a very special Geraldo!

Please release America...let her go... I will send you all the Johnny Walker and pins you may need, but I can't recruit BB players...they are out of my league.

Consider America released. Now, to go sell the coffee can on eBay!

Thanks. There are times when I wish I was still in Hawaii. We truly loved it there. It would be cool to hang out.
