If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Some pics

I spent some time scanning some old pictures into the computer today. Thought I'd share some tonight. I'll probably share some others over the next few days, turning my blog into a photo blog. In addition to these, I have some Army Hooah! pics, some puppy pics from our first litter, and even some old high school pics to share.

These pictures were taken in Aug 96. I went on a weekend trip with a couple friends to the island of Kaua'i. We had an absolute blast. We travelled all over the island. We even took a helicopter tour. So much fun! These pics were taken one evening on the west coast of the island. One of my friends wanted to get some cool sunset pics. That's the back of her head in the first shot.

When I see something like that, it always reminds me of something divine. That, or The Truman Show.
Stunning.

Seeing your pictures reminded me of the time I spent at Hawaii. In the Summer of 1982 I visited Kaui and Molokai when I was a graduate student at UH Manoa. How about a Setting sun against the back drop of the Diamond Head.

It is truly beautiful. The pics do little justice to the reality from that day. It was so great to sit on the beach and watch the sun set through the clouds.

You know, it's funny, I lived on Oahu for years, but never got pics from the Diamond Head area. My loss.
