If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Funny note from today's training

Just a quick note before I head off to Suicide Prevention Training.

We had some mandatory training on the prevention of sexual harassment this morning. While we were going through the powerpoint slides (powerpoint - is there anything that says Army training more than a powerpoint presentation?), we had a slide that described non-verbal modes sexual harassment. Non-verbal means can include ogling, leering, giving the once over, emails, posters, calandars and even bumper stickers.

When the trainer asked for an example of a bumper sticker that might fall under this category, there was a pause as everyone thought about it...

Then from the back of the room, in a voice that had a very heavy eastern European accent, SFC T (you know the one, SPC NBS) said, "Vote for Kerry"?

He absolutely floored the entire room with laughter! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Probably the funniest thing I will hear all week.

Just thought I'd share it as a funny story. Hopefully it will be seen as such and noone feels the need to flame away. I can hope, right?

I mean, we can't mention one of the candidates without a flame, right? I just thought I would get it over with soon. You know, the band-aid principle.

Funny. As long as we're flame-free, my favorite bumper sticker was the "Republicans for Voldemort" one, though i'd be willing to edit it to "Voldemort for President" to keep it less partisan....

Cheers.

I'm still getting nasty phone calls from all the yellow ribbon magnets...and I think a "McGovern '72" button felt me up at a Phish concert one time, but I was pretty stoned...

Apparently, someone thought that my brother's Kerry sign on his van was harassing him or her and tried to damage it. Right extremists.

Good article.

Every once in awhile, the mad romanian did come up with something good like that...........although we all got sick of "now place your hands under your pasty white thighs" during pt........

Goats.com was one of the progenitors for that one... I don't agree with his politics but a funny comic:)

The Swift Boat Veterans Against Harassment By The Jesus Fish offered no settlement.

That was nearly as funny as the comment from this morning!!!

That is just crap! You know, you can disagree with someone's politics, but to go and mess with the stickers on their cars or the signs on their lawns is downright crap.

Greywar, I'm excited that anyone else has even heard of goats.com.

I'm not on board with their politics, either, but that bumper sticker was funny as hell.

I've never heard of the site, but with your two recommendations, I may have to check it out this weekend.
