If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Just some odd Sunday morning football mumblings...

Should Randy Moss' streak really count? It seems to me that the only reason he suited up today was to get on the field and get the start to count. The announcers made a big deal out of this being his 109th game, but really, did he do anything? He lined up for the first offensive play to get credit and there is an incomplete pass in the second quarter credited as being thrown in his direction. But, really, does it count? I mean there's a difference between getting in the game and being shut down and suiting up injured for the first two quarters and really not doing anything. Seems like the streak is being manufactured.

While I like the looks of the Eagle's jerseys today, I gotta say, when I think Eagles, I think green and silver. Not black. Of course the Hawaii Warriors went that route a few years back and it worked for them. But, there's a difference between changing your uniform scheme when you were known as the Rainbow Warriors and when your the Eagles. They already looked and played tough. Seems to me that the Eagles are just trying to cash in on the black jerseys are kewl (and sell well) idea.

Just some odd mumblings that strike me this morning... Probably get me flamed by Vikings and/or Eagles fans...
