If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Not my original title

I was originally going to title this article "Gay! Is Leon" since that's what inspired this post. But, I didn't want anyone to read the title and think I was using any bloggers name in the title (I don't even know if there is a Leon blogging here at JU, but better safe than sorry, haha).

I was out running this evening with a buddy here on Ord Military Community and CSUMB (formerly known as Fort Ord). There is a large amount of graffiti and painting on the old buildings that are just awaiting funds to tear them down. Well, while we were out on one of the seldom used roads, there was, in big chalk writing on the road,

Gay!
Is
Leon

Now I'm sure it was meant to be "Leon Is Gay!", but my brain reads stacked words from top to bottom, not bottom to top.

This goes for printed traffic directions, too. I always read it as "Turn Left No" even though I know it's supposed to be "No Left Turn". Like if you're reading the words as you drive over them. But they are always painted so close together on the street that I can't help but read them backwards.

For those of you that know me, this probably comes as no surprise. I'm often told I think backwards. Goes with being left handed, I think.

I read those things the same way. I thought I was just retarded or something.

I always thought a Korean had painted the damn things! Now I finally understand! Thanks Chip!

I think most of us would read from top to bottom, as long as we see a bunch of words together, on a page or on the road.
