If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
But it sucks to be the person I was nice to

After Operation Goldenflow this morning, I still had some time to spare before I needed to be in the office. So, I went out to one of the local grocery stores to pick up some coffee and something to have later for lunch. On the way back, traffic got real congested around the base. Cars were lined up for a good distance with teachers that were trying to get in to work at the last minute. I happened to know the teachers in front of me and behind me in line.

When I got to the light at Taylor street, I also recognized the teacher that was opposite me, waiting to make a left on Taylor. Since I was in no hurry (my first class isn't until 1000 today), I waved to him to go ahead of me.

The guards were lined up along the street so that they could check four cars simultaniously. When we got to the gate, the teacher I had waved through was at the first guard and I was at the second. Well, he was the lucky number car and had to pull over for an inspection and I got to go through to work.

It's turning into a very good morning.

Ahhh the sweet sensation of shafting someone through kindness...

And the sweeter sensation of being the one who got shafted and not knowing who to be mad at: the person who was nice to you or the universe for spitting on your shoes.
