If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
I'm Not OK!

I wrote a thing about how much I hate crappy music. In it, I talked about how lame the radio is in the area and even named some specific groups I don't care for. What I didn't offer was what I do like, so as to not provide target fodder for YOU, the reader.

Well, I decided to share the contents of my most recenlty burned audio cd. It's mostly stuff I've bought off iTunes recently, but there is also some stuff that's been out there for a while that I still like a lot.

There are a ton of songs from Live's new CD Awake (the Best of Live). I really like their music. I included Run to the Water, Overcome, Heaven, Turn my head, and The Dolphins Cry.

Also, there are three Sting songs - Stolen Car (Take Me Dancing), I'm So Happy That I Can't Stop Crying, and Sacred Love.

Papa Roach - Scars
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
3 Doors Down - Let Me Go
My Chemical Romance - I'm Not OK (I Promise) explicit lyrics
Story of the Year - Anthem of our Dying Day
Coheed and Cambria - A Favor House Atlantic
Creed - One Last Breath
Evanescance - My Immortal
Garbage - Only Happy When It Rains and When I Grow Up

Like I said, many of those songs are a bit old, but I like them anyway. I just got Mr. Brightside and Scars from iTunes last week thanks to the Pepsi and iTunes promotion. And I scored I'm Not OK (I Promise) yesterday from a Pepsi bottle cap my wife brought home. I really like that song a lot and the difference between the radio version and explicit lyrics version is one word, used once in the entire song. But, the song is so much the better for it's placement, IMHO. Thank you Pepsi and iTunes!

Well, there you have it. Music that I don't think is crappy. At least I don't think it's crappy this week. Feel free to tell me that any of it is crappy. Like I said in my previous article, I can guarantee there is music you listen to that I believe is crappy. Just remember, your music may be crappy, but that doesn't make you crappy. Please keep that in mind if you decide to tear apart my playlist.

Mmm.... good music choice, for the most part.

I actually just stumbled across Coheed and Cambria and have been pretty impressed with their stuff. Nice list there.
