Why Don't Cows Smell Like Leather?

Just a random, odd thought I had as I passed a Wilson's Leather Shop yesterday.

It has to do with the tanning process. And "live" animals don't get tanned.

as in wilson's house of suede n leather? they're still in business?

as far as the tanning process goes, tanneries smell like a lotta stuff but fine corinthian leather aint on that list.

Wilson's been in business since God made Moses and they'll be around till the second coming. Your right about the smell. But if it wasn't for tanneries, corinthian leather wouldn't smell as good as it does. Tanneries *stink* to high heaven but the finished product doesn't smell bad.

Pigs do, if they're in the sun for long enough...

Sorry Dr, I couldn't resist!

I dunno why, Chip...but I think that the doc's on the right track.

Speaking of cows:

What can a cow do that a woman can't?

stand in water up to her tits without getting her but wet!

Unless we're standing on our hands...

Er. That probably deserves greywar's *rimshot* rating, if not an all-out *airball.*

Sorry. I'll go away now.

Bulls smell of Old Spice, cows smell of Lavendar water and pigs smell with their nose...
