If it's wrong, I've probably said it...

My wife woke up a little late for work today. I got up with her and when I asked if there was anything I could do to help her out, she asked me to make coffee and drive her to work. I said OK and headed for the kitchen.

Once the coffee was ready, I got one of the car mugs and poured her some coffee. I then looked for the cream and sugar. I don't put any of this stuff in my coffee, so I don't know where it all is sometimes. I found the creamer next to the coffee can in the cupboard and I found a container on the counter that looked to be full of brown sugar. My wife will sometimes buy brown sugar and use that in her coffee, so I scooped and stirred from both containers.

Well, it wasn't brown sugar. It was beef bullion. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm still laughing out loud 10 minutes after getting in trouble for messing up her coffee!

Now, it's not all my fault, really. We buy pouches of bullion at the Korean store (so it's not little cubes that are easy to know what it is) and we keep it in same style container we keep the sugar and brown sugar in. The only difference is the size of the jar. And it was sitting on the counter in the traditional sugar position. And, since I don't put anything in my coffee, I didn't taste her beefy coffee before putting the lid on it.

OK, it is still my fault. But it's funny, too. I couldn't help buy laugh when she told me and I laughed all the way home after dropping her off!

Beef coffee, you might be on to a new trend here. You should try marketing the idea

She who puts things in jars and leaves them unlabeled is to blame!

reminds me of a time I made beef stew.. recepe called for 3 tablespoons of paprika... I used cayene pepper instead... I went by colour..not by label... My son loved it... I couldn't eat it.

Too funny! I was searching for "brown sugar and coffee" and found this by accident. Glad to know someone else puts brown sugar in their coffee. I only did it one day because I was out of regular sugar but it is actually pretty good.
