Just some morning radio commercial laughs
I usually listen to the Bob and Tom show on the drive to work. I like the morning laughs. Especially since most of the radio stations around here are lame.
Well, I also got some laughs from the commercials this morning.
The first was a commercial that was promoting the music from a group named COQ-ROQ. I first laughed because they spelled the name out just like that and I thought it was a funny way to get a potentially offensive name out on the radio. The really funny part was when I realized it was really a Burger King commercial for their chicken fries. BK has really gone out there with their commercials lately. First there was Darius Rucker hawking the Tendercrisp Bacon Chedder Ranch and then the wake up with the King freak out commercials.
The second commercial laugh was the new Corona commercial about how everything is going to a fast food style drive thru service. The commercial involves a couple at a drive thru asking for cosmetic/plastic surgery. The woman orders a nip and tuck special and an order of the chiseled abs for her husband and they are told to drive up to the first window for anasthesia. Then, the Corona guy goes into his thing about taking some time to relax with an ice cold Corona or somesuch. The punchline is when, at the window, the woman asks if she can add a D cup to her order. The clerk asks if she wants to supersize that and her husband immediately adds in "YES! She does!"
Had me laughing out loud this morning!
