If it's wrong, I've probably said it...

I burned the last of my use or lose leave for the year last week. It was nice. I didn't think about work for 11 whole days and I got a fair bit of WoW in. Yeah, I'm still feeding that addiction. I did get out in the sunlight and away from the keyboard, though. I'm not that far gone.

My wife got off early on Saturday and we packed up the dogs and headed up to Lake Tahoe. It was kind of a last minute planned thing, so I had to scramble to find a pet friendly place. We didn't want to stay at a regular hotel, but instead wanted to try a cabin or bed and breakfast type place. After some googling and calling around, we found Holly's Place. We made reservations to stay at the The Streisand, which is, you guessed it, a cabin themed for Barbara Streisand. It was actually a nice little place and only the living room had anything really to do with Barbara.

Only minor disappointing thing about the place was that we couldn't leave the dogs there unattended. There are a lot of pet friendly things to do in Tahoe, but we would have liked the ability to go out to dinner alone or maybe hit a casino for a couple hours over in Nevada.

We did hit a few look outs spots and a dog friendly beach. Not nearly as much as we wanted to do, but we did get to take some pics and see a fair amount of the south lake. Once I get the pics transfered over to the computer, I'll post some.
