If it's wrong, I've probably said it...
Let's hear it for my lack of original writing!

I did not write this and it's been a while since I put much of my own original writing up, but, meh, I felt like sharing it here anyways... To hell with my own original writing!

A good friend sent this to me in email. Don't know if he wrote it or not, but it's something he might say, so I guess it could be him.

World's Shortest and Best Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"

The girl said, "NO!" And the guy lived happily ever after and went golfing, fishing and played softball and drank beer whenever he wanted.

THE END

Thanks, Nak, that made me laugh!

ROFL, this was funny! thanks for sharing.

hey, as a divorced woman I believe in fairytales like this! Only reverse the roles.....
and she lived happily everafter, going to ballets, concerts, dancing all night
drinking wine coolers, and eating peanutbutter sandwiches.

Thanks for the midweek giggles!!

'The girl said, "NO!" And the guy lived happily ever after and went golfing, fishing and played softball and drank beer whenever he wanted.'

There is a great deal of research to suggest that you should really add another line to your story:
'And he died several years younger than all his married friends'.

But I guess it IS a fairy tale ...

There is also a great deal of research that suggests that married men dont live longer.  It just seems that way.

an oldie but a goodie.

Here's another old one.

Once upon a time, in a land far away, A beautiful, independent, self assured princess, happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle.

The frog hopped into the Princess' lap and said: " Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome Prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper, young Prince that I am and then, my sweet, we can marry and setup housekeeping in yon castle with my Mother, where you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and forever feel grateful and happy doing so."

That night, on a repast of lightly sauteed frogs legs seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce, she chuckled to herself and thought:

"I don't think so!"
