What kind of American English do you speak?

Someone recently posted a link to an English quiz. I can't even remember who it was now. I took the quiz and because of a computer hiccup, I lost my cut and paste job of my results and the window closed. Didn't feel like taking a 40 question quiz again (yeah, I'm that lazy) so, I never replied there... Sorry to the OP of that thread.
But here's a link to a new quiz that tells you "What kind of American English do you speak?"

Considering all the state's I've lived in, I'm not suprized my English is pretty "general".
I didn't see "bubbler" as a choice for "drinking/water fountain" though. lol

I would have thought in my case the word "poorly" would have summed it up, but here are the test results

HAHA! If there was a category for Navy speak, they'd have "scuttlebutt" as a possible answer, too! I remember the first time a Sailor called it that - I had NO IDEA what they were talking about.

I can see where the Yankee comes from, but Dixie? Oh well. As 100% Northerner, this is about what I expected.

How do I speak
Dixie
? I'm confused...I speak nothing like a Southerner (not that there's anything wrong with speaking like a Southerner)!

Trade you my 10% yankee for your 10% dixie (I am 65% general, 25% Dixie and 10% Yankee - and I have only visited Yankee territory!)

Heh, same here. The most Dixie-speaking state I've been to is Virginia, and that was for less than a day.

That depends on if you say "Coke" no matter what soft drink you might be enjoying and if "y'all" "just rolls off your tongue". ;~D
